Tunnels
Not even sure what the point of posting this is, but I live to serve… 
…{yesterday, while awake}…
“It’s just pond water,” he said to me. I nodded then shrugged.
“I suppose it doesn’t matter since it came such a long way. Maybe we should analyze it, to see if there is anything interesting about it?” I queried tentatively. The hesitation in my internal voice was noted.
“You really don’t believe in much of this do you?”
“Not really. I mean, even you said it was just pond water.”
…{later, in a dream}…
“I was right. It is pond water. But it’s strange pond water.”
“How so?”
“Let me show you. This is ordinary quintessential mass.”
Blue tunnels. Faint colors flashing at the edge of vision. I note that this is the perceptual threshold and that it is as though my head is immersed just below the water level. Nothing exciting.
“Now our pond water.”
Tunnels again, but hexagonal in shape, as though they were made to approximate the roundness of the previous tunnels. No flashes on the edge of perception. Gray-blue instead of blue. Almost mechanistic, but only artificially so. Confirms previous assumptions to some degree about humanity and it’s relation to quintessential masses.
“And another thing: let me show you the first again, and move you along the scaling axis of the mass – the fractal symmetry should show you something.”
As I pan out from the original tunnels, I see something akin to a circulatory system (LOL, the time stream from Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure) which then disappears into the structure of a larger version of the same.
“And the other:”
Panning out from the hexagonal tunnel system, I see no changes. No matter the scaling, there is always a hexagonal tunnel to be seen. Still very bland.
“Now if we paste the alterations of subjects A, B, and yourself, then we see this:”
Panning out again from the tunnel system, only now the symmetry of the original hexagonal model is gone. There is a definite structure at certain levels which breaks down and then reforms, as the biological model of the first tunnel system. The structure is more dense at the key levels than the first model, but is also more biological looking than the second model. The hexagon’s edges round out, and there is again a perceptual bleed into the quintessential structure.
“Thanks. Let’s implement that third pattern,” I smile as I think it.
“Alright. Let’s see what happens.”

Putrefied
I suppose I should be happy. Really, in many ways, I am happy. There are some irritants though in this mix, maybe irritants designed to turn into pearls.
Putrefaction is a fascinating study, perhaps primarily because it is a stage that most attempt to push through as quickly as possible, and because of this, the data on it sometimes seems superficial, or sketchy at times. I wonder if that attitude in and of itself doesn’t account for lengthened sojourns.
Of course, there’s always St. John of the Cross, a Spaniard (“I’ve known too many Spaniards” – Wesley, The Princess Bride) and fellow sandal fanatic, if you need a lift. Sometimes though, I feel much closer to Augustine of Hippo (Compare Course in Miracles with Manicheism in terms of their reliance on unreduceable dichotomies).
Of course, most people just tell you to “get help.”
