I’ve been exhausted today on every level. Still put in my time (about 7 1/4) and came home and slept for 3 hours. Updated the Treo today with 1.15 (yah I have fuggin Cingular okay… let it go) and I’m liking the better battery life. Touch screen is a bit more accurate I think… not sure. Finished installing FC4 on a box at work, and I’m kinda warming up to it. Definitely a step in the right direction. VNC from the get-go (well, if you start the service), and it even recognized the sound card right away. Tomorrow I need to look for mySQL GUIs. I don’t need a GUI, but I may need other people to do stuff with it while I’m remote, and that would make it easier. Car got washed (sigh) and Lily is popping out two teeth at once (oi).

Need to start working on the spoken word stuff for Kadmon that I’ve been thinking about. Soon. The dreams will come and bring inspiration with them.

Alright, temporary site no longer necessary! Big love to Quartz Hosting & the Irreality crew!

I’m still in hrm mode though. The abiding spirit seems to still me when I try to think of questions I should be asking or things I should be doing. Maybe the answer is that it’s Shabbat. Hrm.

fun fun fun

Harry Potter party tonight, although I’m still not sure what all is going on, as I’d like to go to synagogue too. It’s become something of a stabilizing force in my life, and I don’t relinquish those lightly. Missed Hebrew lessons this week, but I’ve been practicing my cursive anyway. I like the cursive alefbet (as you can see here).

I’ve changed the layout on the site again, as I want it to focus on the information regarding the Kadmon Group more than on the bits of info on myself. To that end I may retool the header graphic and change the sections, but for now, it’s a little wierd. yeah, just a little…

need to put up the practices essay… needs to be fairly simple and practical in nature, but there’s a lot to explain. Balancing the two isn’t hard, it’s just time consuming and involves me sitting and staring off into space, trying to find the correct words. So I need to attempt that sometime soon… and get back to writing the bio too.

Updated the site again… this time mainly the essays, and a bit of tightening of the first page.

I dreamed I was talking with various members of my family. They would give me advice on a variety of topics, then I would shift to the next set of relatives. This went on for some time, and the advice got steadily more and more informative. I finally revealed that the reason I was asking was a little red-orange bird that looked almost like a flying flame. They told me it had mended itself finally and I must let it fly. I told them I was afraid that it would fly away and never return. They told me that it was a risk worth taking. I spent the rest of the dream in darkness, speaking as though to a large crowd in Shakespearean prose.

Viva viva!

Well, I updated the site and am feeling good about having accomplished something. It’s not beautiful or anything, but it’s got my mark on it. I’ve been working on the Intranet at work, which gives an odd cross-section of the craft which is web-design. Functionality is much easier, imo.

Anybody with connections (who could host me), please speak up… hostgool hasn’t been too nice. I don’t take up much space either!

[sad puppy-dog eyes]

Anyway, enough website pimping…

On a list I’m on, we were discussing Live 8, and someone thought that it might be a sign of la revolucion to come. What do y’all think about that?

(Revolucion is a patch-work girl too!)

Hurray!

Pretty happy day today. Grumpy kids… all three of them, but even that couldn’t get me down.

Got a package today.

A package from Tzefat!

It was a book I had ordered through B’nei Baruch (who were very nice and let me pay by Paypal), called Sabba D’Mishpatim. It’s a small portion of the Zohar that was supposed to be the basis for Shaar Gilgulim (which I also have now).

Makes me all warm inside just holding the thing.
:)

Oh yeah, and I’m totally hooked on Atelier Irisitem system. It’s better than Legend of Mana’s system, and that’s saying a lot.
