Updates
Not much to write about recently. GH3 has been an enjoyable pastime for several peoples here (although I don’t play) and we’ve been having more guests over also. Children have been pretty good, although we’re having to re-teach the 10 year old how to bathe. Fun. Anyway, hope all are well.
Random tidbits
Do not attempt to install Ubuntu PPC Gutsy Gibbon via the Live CD. Doesn’t work for most of the G3-G5 line. Not sure about the PS3 version. Better to have a 7.04 CD handy and upgrade from there. It’s a shorter process than downloading and burning the iso anyway.
I love the look of the new Nokia Internet Tablet.
Also, in case you aren’t aware, you should download the new beta of Realplayer. Normally I hate Realplayer, Windows Media Player, iTunes, and any other bloatware media players (I use VLC for video and songbird for mp3s) but I would highly recommend the new Realplayer beta because it lets you download and archive Flash video – that’s right, folks – anything from youtube, daily motion, or any other flash site can be downloaded and archived. VERY NICE! {/borat}

Hah! You can get your own Tachikoma, come February!!!
Unfortunately, I find it difficult to be outraged by the latest Coulterism. While I recognize that there are Christians that feel otherwise, I know that many Christians hold the same opinion, although they might be less blunt about the way they say it. Personally, I don’t find that sugar-coating it makes me feel any better.
While in the dentist’s office having my teeth pulled earlier, the radio happened to be on a country station, and they were playing this song. I found it wonderfully ironic.
